"Run a little farther, Run!" The girl repeated in her mind, trying to escape the dense forest of Agwi. Her feet were tired, wounded, and maybe sprained. The rough ground was full of pebbles, twigs, and thorns that made it more difficult for her to run. She had several bruises all over her body. But she was running out of time to check on her wounds. She has been waiting for such a windy, rainy night for a long now to escape. The rain washed away the blood she was leaving behind her, making it hard to catch her trail. Not that it was the first windy, stormy night! It was just one of the many nights when she wanted to escape. But this time, something weird happened. The witch queen, Wicca, finally left her shell to go somewhere, probably seeking something wicked. Wicca lifted the protective shield covering the territory by removing that magical dagger, finally giving her a real chance to break free of this place. If she was not wrong, Wicca has shielded their covens identity from the world, and they were living in shadows. Wicca was waiting for the right moment to achieve something heinous, while a few people dreaded for an escape. Wicca had locked her and her mother inside a lavish room with everything except freedom. It was hard to leave her mother, Ophelia, behind. But it was their only chance at freedom. Before Wicca returns and finds out that she is missing, she must run far away from the forest of Agwi. Wicca hid this place for everyone to protect her magical dagger. The thought that Wicca would be back anytime now and would put back the shield bothered her. In that case, she can never get away and see the world outside to seek someone's help and free her mother. It was a strange night. Wicca left the mansion out of the blue for the first time in decades. Also, some faded memories have returned to her mother, Ophelia. They both must be connected, but they had little time to discuss it. Ophelia has asked her to search for Elsa. She did not have time to find out who she was and where to find her. All her mother said was they were blood witches, and substantial power ran in their blood. She must summon it and use everything Ophelia had taught her all these years to find out about Elsa. Only Elsa can save them. The girl ran like her life depended on it. It was probably true. She could see the shield reappearing at the farther end, behind the mansion standing in the middle of the abandoned Agwi forest. She let out a scowl, putting in more effort. She must get out of the boundary. It is her only chance! The minions of Wicca were behind her, and she was certain Wicca was back and on her way already to catch her. She had a few meters and a few seconds left to make it out! Purple smoke appeared, clarifying that Wicca was somewhere near. Wicca must have found her location. She let out a deep breath and looked beyond the horizon. Ophelia and her life depended on it. She summoned all the energy left in her body as her eyes sparkled for a brief second. She ran like hell, even if her legs hurt and her body ached. The shield would get completed anytime now, preventing anyone from passing through it from either side. Wicca could appear from the purple smoke, or Wicca's minions could catch her. Despite all that, the girl made it out successfully. She turned to look at Wicca, standing with a frowned face before the shield separated them momentarily. No one could get inside or outside until she removed the magical dagger from its place on the stone table. She gasped, resting for a brief second. It was only a temporary victory. Wicca would remove the shield anytime now, and again they would be behind her. She got on her toes, putting all her energy on her legs, running out of the forest. She felt blessed to see a car coming her way when she hit the road. The girl begged for a lift, walking carelessly on the road. She was severely wounded and on the verge of collapsing. The car halted as a man, followed by another woman, got down. The couple was scared at first, but after seeing her state, they rushed to help her. She was grateful that they did not abandon her. It was her lucky day. Her eyes weighed down as everything got dizzy around her. She grasped the woman's hand for help. "Save me!" She whispered before losing herself to blackness.
