I opened my eyes and found myself lying on the hospital bed, an IV drip attached to my right hand.
What happened? Why was I at the hospital?
And then it hit me.
Shit!
I was pregnant! Pregnant with Massimo's baby. How stupid of me!
But wait, where was he? I was all alone in the room.
That coward! He ran away when he found out I was carrying his baby.
I had to leave this place and consider my options. What was I even thinking? What options? I had to abort the baby. I wanted nothing to do with that arrogant ass.hole.
I took the needle out of my hand and sat up in bed. I was already feeling better, except for my racing heart and the anxiety that had overtaken me.
