I couldn’t believe my luck, after Scarlet called me to tell me that she had escaped and I went to pick her up. She reeked of magic and Damien; I could smell it a mile away. And it was just my luck that she was passed out because then I could bind her in case she tried to fight back when she woke up. I looked at her on the chair, she looked so innocent. I couldn’t believe that she had been literally right under my nose and I couldn’t find her.
