WEEK 1 + Creating an INITIAL OUTLINE
Hi there! My name is Soli, a beginner writer who suddenly had a burst of inspiration to write her first-ever book. I've never been a writer myself since I HATE writing ESSAYS from the bottom of my heart. I tell you that ESSAYS are my ultimate weakness in life. Well, next to snakes.
So! Week 1 is all about creating an INITIAL OUTLINE OF MY STORY so here goes mine.
STEP 1: Write Down Your Ideas
1. A student nurse who excels in her studies
- I am a student nurse, and I decided to create my first ever book of a student nurse who excels in her studies.
2. Because of jealousy, her groupmates tricked her.
- As we all know, some people tend to be jealous of someone's achievements.
3. She travels back in time.
- Because of the trick that they put on her, she traveled back in time.
STEP 2: Draw The Plot Using The Ideas
A nursing student named Callie was tricked by her groupmates that led her to be submerged by an avalanche due to a storm that broke out three days ago.
Callie woke up and is unfamiliar with the atmosphere when she noticed the familiar dome outside the infirmary's window.
STEP 3: Add Scenes, Supporting Characters, And Logic
Scene 1: Callie Esteloire assessed the children at the small hidden province because her clinical instructor trusts her to handle the children.
Scene 2: Seeing that Callie had more duties than her, Tia, one of her groupmates, was envious and decided to trick her by telling Callie that their clinical instructor needed her to assess the family at the farthest house of the province.
Scene 3: Doubtful of what Tia has said to her, she still diligently obliged and went to the family's house. Unbeknownst to Callie's route, an avalanche due to a storm that broke out three days ago happened quickly, which gave no time for Callie to avoid the avalanche.
Scene 4: Callie slowly regained consciousness and noticed that she was in a different place because of the man next to her speaking in a familiar language.
And that ends the first week of Stary Writing Camp. Thank you for reading!
