Kate and I tell each other everything and being used in that my tongue once slipped up, I told her that I had a crush on her father. After I said that's when I realized how foolish I was but luckily she just laughed it off and thought I was just joking.

She was like "You are joking right?". I just looked at her horrified. " Have you met my father?". She asked even though I know him very well, not that well but I know him and I was like "Yeah, maybe it was just a teenage crush". I answered biting my tongue on the inside for being sloppy.

"Well, then it's okay as long I wouldn't find you naked in my father's bedroom". She said chuckling. " Ohhh God never ! ". I answered with my heart pounding very fast, I swear my breath was starting to shorten or maybe I was just having an asthma attack. " Anyway don't worry, I won't judge you my father is a nice-looking guy if you are just passing by". She said. ' Trust me he is way too sexy, if he was a fire, he would be the kind of fire that melts metals ' I thought smiling awkwardly at her.

She started talking about his father's habits but I was too busy with my steroid inhaler.

I didn't bother telling her that I had a crush on him, I didn't want it to be a weird thing between us, how would I look at Kate again with her knowing I wanted to bang her father or how I wanted her father to bang me senseless? What if she thought that I only befriended her just to be close to her father?

No, she wouldn't think that, we have been friends since kindergarten. I didn't know anything about boys at that time nor matured guys in this case.

Anyway, last night I left around 8 pm my house is right next door, and I got in my pj's when I was about to leave for Kate's house my mom called me. n" Hey Mom ". I greeted kissing her on the cheek, the two little mouses were already asleep. " I'm getting worried about you". She said. "what! why ? ". I asked a little shocked. "As we both know, you are at the age where you think, you can do anything you want with boys, they will use you until you forget your name ". She said with a serious face. Woah where did this conversation come from ?'.

" Mom, I don't understand what you are talking about but I can tell I'm always hanging out with Kate and no one else, even today it was only the two of us, there were no boys with us, I don't even have any guy friends except for smelly Jericho at the corner house, he doesn't seem to give up on me ". I told her.

'Well Jericho is not that smelly to others, it's just that his perfume is too much for my nostrils '

" Well we all know, Lewis is a single parent, so the thought of you always there with no female guardian around scares me ". Said My mother.

'Maybe it's time, I make a move on Mr Lewis because if I don't one of these days my mom will lock me inside the house.

' Ohh No she didn't just say what I think I heard! , does she think Mr Lewis would rape me? What'.

"But he is always at work the whole day". I told her.

" Then why Kate doesn't come here during the day and then leave when his father gets back like how she used to when she was young, she used to stay here so what changed ? ". She asked folding her arms.

" Well, you had two mics... I mean you had small children.. you had Jaden and the other Jaden ". I started then realized I kept calling my little brothers many different names I even forgot their real names oh Jaden and Jordan.

" Anyway Mom, after you had the twins, you were a little busy looking after Kate and me, so we just let you raise your kids in peace, we have been doing this for 4 years now, so don't you think if anything were to happen it would have happened already ? ". I asked.

" Don't you get smart with me, you were still young 4 years ago, now you are a woman ! ". She said.

" Well thank you, Mom, that you see me as a woman but I haven't felt like a woman, I would finally realize that when I'm able to buy myself anything I want, " I told her.

" Is that why he bought you clothes that reveal body parts ? ". She asked.

" Who ? ". I asked.

" Lewis ! Where else did you get money to buy new clothes, are you selling your body to him ? ". She asked.

" I have been telling you about my clothes getting smaller for years Mom, but you always forgot when you're in town, always coming up with stories about the twins crying inside the store, or sometimes you would say you don't have money or you only managed to buy the twins winter clothes so I just stopped asking ". I told her.

" That's why you decided to sell your body to an old man enough to be your father ". She said.

I wanted to say yes but then I didn't want Kate's dad to be in trouble.

" I never sold my body, that was Kate's money, she bought the clothes with her allowance ". I answered.

That seems to shut her up for a few minutes.

" Still I don't want you going to that house late at night, these older men like having affairs with young women, I just don't want you to go through that ". She said almost tearing up.

" Ohh Okay I hear you Mom, but can we talk ". I answered leading her to the couch.
