Emma walked to the windows and watched Lizzie leave the building and get in her car. Then she turned to the others standing behind her with a grin.
"Okay, spill the beans. Is there really a ghost at Azalea Plantation?"
Kevin opened his mouth to answer, but Trisha cut him off before he could say a word.
"Oh honey, any self-respecting, old home in the South is haunted. And Azalea Plantation is no exception. In fact, she boasts two ghosts, both looking after the women of the Higgins family for generations." She smiled and gave Kevin a wink before continuing. "I know that the ghost walks the grounds of the plantation. In fact, Kevin, Lizzie, and me spent many summers of our youth tracking down the spirits that wander the estates."
