9 BANGKOK QUACKSWhen Young awoke at seven am, he still had the cousins with him, one either side. He would have loved to keep them for another hour at least, but he had things to do and they would still be there when he got back. He slapped them both on their bare bottoms at the same time.

A hand gripped him below the sheets, he thought it was the one on the right, Alice, but wasn’t sure.
“No, not that, I have to get moving. I have to pack, have breakfast, and… oh, go on then.”
When she had finished, he got out of bed and pulled the single sheet back, there had been no need for any more coverings. In fact, he would probably have slept naked on top of the bed if he had been alone, but the girls were more acclimatised than he was naturally.
