The storm had passed. At least, that was what it felt like to me. Not a real storm of rain and thunder, but the emotional kind of storm that had kept me in its grasp since the first moment I had seen Jason again by moving back here. And now that we had talked and so many things had finally made sense to me, I felt this ‘calm’ in me. The calm after the storm. So to me, the storm was indeed over now. It was the first thought that had crossed my mind when I had opened my eyes, and I had felt the warmth of the sun shining on my skin.
