Sami’s P.O.V. “OK, let’s go.” Jason grinned widely at me, as he stood up from his chair and grabbed my hand to pull me up from my own seat as well. My body jumped at the sudden connection of our skin, and the butterflies that had been pretty silent before, were now flying around at full speed inside of me, as I felt the warmth of his hand and the rawness of his fingertips. A part of me wanted us to keep standing like this, just holding hands, being connected in some way, but I quickly understood that this probably was just that same connection that we had once shared and both lost so long ago, a reminder of the past. A reminder of a past life. A twisted cade of deja-vu... “Go? Go where?” I asked him as I cleared my throat. Trying to pull myself together as I looked at our joined hands.
