Vador had originally planned on leaving Wolus as soon as the fundraiser was over. However, turn of events led him to stay.
Alpha Vador stayed in a cottage next to the Alpha's house. It was the only place they had that was not as offensive to let the Lycan Alpha stay. Vador did not care for it. Even if he was given a luxurious place, he still wouldn't get any sleep.
