To a werewolf, being called a dog was already too big of an insult. Contrary to popular belief among other supernaturals and humans (who know of their existence), werewolves hate being compared to a dog. They were lesser and insignificant.
How could anyone compare the mightiness of shape shifting werewolves to dogs?
