Elisabeth left the pack hall without anyone noticing. It wasn't difficult, as everyone's eyes were glued to the Lycan Alpha ever since he stepped foot inside the hall.
Making sure not to ruin her dress, Elisabeth carefully walked towards the empty kitchen and poured herself a glass of water.
The much needed water washed over her dry throat and forced a sigh out of her. The heaviness calmed down a notch but the presence was still there.
"Should I just go home and sleep it off?" Elisabeth wondered out loud to herself. The kitchen lights were out, no one was going to wander in. Taking advantage of the situation, Elisabeth sat on the tiled floor with crossed legs. She leaned her head on the cabinet and closed her eyes.
The kitchen was so much safer than the busy hall.
