Vampire, I Love You (ENGLISH)

Chapter 1

I was running nonstop, sweat-soaked all over my body. My breath was wheezing as if I could no longer fill my lungs to take a single breath. I walked through the quiet and dark path in the hope there would be a glimmer of magic that might help me this time from those evils. The roaring sound of those people chasing me was ringing in my ears, it was terrifying. I could not allow them to catch me.

Anaya Cantika, that was my name. I was the daughter of the owner of the orphanage where I was born 18 years ago. My life was full of happiness with my mother and other kids who lived in the same under the roof as me. I love them and so they did. My daily life was fun and cheerful along with them. We grew up in an abundance of happiness and full of love.

As a writer, I like writing the imaginative story. I wrote some novels and became famous because of one of the best-selling novels I wrote. The novel with the title Vampire, I love You, led me to be known as the best novelist. It made my life full of joy and happiness even more. However, I had no idea that my novel I wrote just by my imagination would turn into be real and change my whole life. My peaceful days turned into chaos since then, it was impossible.

A man picked me up a few days ago, he convinced my mother to hand me over to him. Of course, my mother refused it at first, but that man had a certain way to change my mother’s mind. He made my mother follow what he said and I could only comply. He promised the guarantees of a better life and survival for all of my family in the orphanage. In the end, with all her persuasion, my mother was forced to hand me over to that strange man with worry and full of tears.

I left the orphanage and my mother behind with tears rolled down my cheeks. I could see the huge sadness in my mother’s eyes. it was so hard to leave them. Why did that strange man separate me from my family? And why did I easily follow that man without even fight. My happiness life turned sadness. The car drove on and took me to somewhere, until it stopped in front? of a dim building. Strange, I never saw such a place before.

I just froze motionless as that man opened the car’s door and asked me get down. my legs felt soothed as if I could not move them at all. What place was this? Where would that man take me? All those questions I could only swallow back down to my throat when that man led me inside the building.

I saw many women were smiling and chatting intimately in the men’s embrace. Some of them even kissed each other without felt embarrassed at all. What was this place actually? Why were there so many people making out in this place?

I kept walking while trying to figure out my surrounding, I could feel the weird gaze of some people and it made goosebumps all over me. until I heard one of those men asked the man who took me, “New girl, huh? Where did you get this pretty chick?”

“Shut up you asshole! This is special for the boss. You better watch your mouth.” snapped the man to him with a sharp glare. I was clueless about what were they talking about, I just could assume he did not like the man who asked him with those words. We continued to walk until he stopped In front of a door, the man knocked on the door before it opened wide.

A tall woman appeared, her body seemed so revealing with the thin gown she wore. She smiled at me but it made me scared.

“Put her in and go.” She said with a firm expression. She asked me to enter the room, my eyes widened looking around, it was so dazzling. All things in this room were filled with luxurious decorations. The room was so big, my eyes could not help but kept looking at those beautiful things. Until I saw a tall figure who gave a sharp gaze. His gaze seemed to be able to pierce my heart, leaving a big hole in it.

I hate to admit it but, the face of the owner of that sharp gaze was like a perfectly formed carving of a Greek god made me unconsciously swallowed my own saliva. I could say he might saw the movement in my neck because a smirk plastered on his beautiful lips right after I did that, and it made my body tensed.

When he started to approach me, my heart was pounding hard. Each step he took was like time retreating to my death. I could only stun without being able to move even the slightest. His hand lifted towards my face and I could feel his cold touch reaching my bare skin. I closed my eyes to suppress my nervousness, and when his touch moved down to my lips, my chest seemed to burst out. He stroked my lips gently and it made me got carried away for a moment. Until I came back to my sense and realized what was happening, I quickly brushed his hand away than I took a few steps back. But he just smiled at me and I could swear, it was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my entire life.

“Come here.” He sounded me his words, his deep voice was like magic, it calmed my nerves and so beautiful in my ears. I could not refuse his call over me, so I followed him, stepped forward towards him. he took my hand and led me to the bathroom.

“Clean your body and do it fast.” He ordered before closed the door.
