DIGGING FOR the TRUTH

Everything returned to normal after the twins had left. I was busy with my classes, as was everyone else. Nash, Nixon, and Jace were busy trying to uncover the truth about Marco.

We searched Marco’s room while looking under the bed and in the closet. We checked his dresser for anything that would confirm what we suspected. Except we came up empty-handed.
“Do you think he’d have that in his room?” Jace asked.
“It was worth a shot,” Nixon said.
The door opened and closed. Nixon, Jace, and I hurried while putting everything back and sneaking back to our rooms.
