I was on my way to pick up Emily and I felt a little too nervous. I didn't know why, and I wasn't usually like this, but she really did have an effect on me that I couldn't explain. I wanted her, that much was true. My inner wolf felt as much. When I had been around her at the pizza parlor, my inner wolf continued to claw at the walls, barking and growling, and I fought hard to keep him at bay.
