Alicia paced nervously in her neat and orderly bedroom. Alicia prided herself on her housekeeping skills. It was the one area of her life she could actually control. She sat on the edge of her bed and picked up a pillow. She cradled the pillow like a baby and spoke softly as if voicing her thoughts could somehow make the truth less horrid. "Only a week left.
