Bumping into a stranger

ROSALINE POV

One week, only one week is left and school will be shut for a summer break. All my classmates were really happy. I was okay with it I mean I can sleep and do something productive. I didn't have to wake up early in the morning.

I was thinking that I should do a part-time job. It will help me financially as well as my time will be passed also.

After school ended I reached home greet my brother and went to my room. I got a message from namal that she landed safely.

I should definitely do a part-time job.

"Ah Max I'm going for a walk I'll be home in an hour okay."

"Okay. . ."

"Be careful munchkin." I glared at him and he smirked.

I was passing through a street when I bumped into someone, actually, the person bumped into me because he was walking backwards like seriously but I don't want to be rude and there was a little bit mistake of mine that I should be walking carefully so instead of being rude to him I said

"Sorry I didn't mean to bump_"

"I'm sorry are you alright?"

"Yeah...yeah, I'm fine."

He was a tall, devilishly handsome boy.

Oh really???

"Shut up conscience."

"Sorry, what did you say?"

"Ahh...nothing." Way to embarrass yourself, Rosaline.

"Sorry again for bumping into you but I need to complete this dare so bye."

Saying that he again started to walk backwards with a smile on his face. I stared at him for a while and he waved at me while walking backwards.

Weird.

I found a flower shop and they accepted me for the job. The job was decent and I was happy with it. I informed the shop's owner that I'll start after a week.

The weather's nice though. I wonder what that boy was doing? I mean walking backwards in the middle of the road. Pretty strange, but he said something about the dare. So maybe he was doing a dare. But who would give such a stupid dare to anyone? I hope he did his dare safely. It can be dangerous walking backwards.

After bumping into a stranger and finding a job I started walking back home.
