2. Two sides of a choice

The past two days I couldn't focus or work properly, for the first time in my life my mind was filled with a man, Seal McKnight, not only did I want him I was falling in love with him, but no matter what I couldn't show it because of my past secret, Hanzel was an ancient witch while I was a pureblood vampire, I was not only a black sheep of my family but also a feared curse.

Hanzel and I were very different in actions and character, while she was quite seductive and playful she also wanted to be fated by a stronger male who could protect and break our curse, I was the quiet one who was always serious and wanted to be left alone, love meant nothing to me, but sadly after meeting seal McKnight I was feeling emotions I never knew I was capable of feeling.

"Stop thinking about that young little toy" Hanzel said silently as I ignored her.

"You even went on to kiss him back" she yelled.

"It was all a mistake okay, I lost control" I answered.

"Don't lie to me, I can feel how you feel for him, you are making us seem weak for a weakling!" She yelled again.

I angrily moved from my room and walked into the living room, when I saw the McKnight twins I gave a quick bow of respect.

"Where is Shane?" Daisy asked Softly.

"Let me call him" I answered then turned and went upstairs to his room.

"We need a strong man to protect us, not a weakling" Hanzel spat.

I knocked on the door and waited for it to open, when it didn't I sighed softly then closed my eyes and let Hanzel pull through for just a second.

"It's Shane who is in control" she whispered.

Hanzel had the ability to tell the difference between Shane and keno and that was our advantage, keno was hard to please while Shane was, I opened my eyes then smiled.

"Shane the McKnight leaders are downstairs and awake," I said loudly.

"She's a witch, she can tell" Shane's voice came through in a whisper.

Were they talking about me, nothing about me was special.

"Give me a minute, I'm coming downstairs" he answered.

I moved to the next spare bedroom and sat down on the bed not knowing what to do as my mind went back to how manly and handsome seal was, his blood tasted amazing and it aroused me.

"Erika, prepare some clothes for Aurora" Shane ordered using our mind link.

" Right away" I answered then stood up and walked to the wardrobe.

Every room was filled with nice clothes that would fit Aurora, Shane had deliberately told me to take them to her for a reason and it was not in me to disrespect my leader.

I grabbed a pair of jean trousers and a blouse for her then walked out of the room and stood outside his.

"Hey" I called.

"Come in, I'm in the bathroom" she answered.

I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the ruffled bedsheets, how did it feel to be held by someone who truly loved you, Hanzel had her own way of having fun, s*x was something she did whenever her panic kicked in and I let her, while she did it I felt disgusted so I usually closed Myself up, but now looking at the sheets made me wonder how it would feel if it was with seal.

"Don't you dare" she warned.

I put the clothes on the bed and went to the bathroom.

Aurora was standing in the shower bathing, she turned and faced me seriously.

"Erika right?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yes, your clothes are on the bed" I answered seriously.

"Are you my brother's bond?" She asked as I tensed, I had no idea it was that obvious.

"Don't answer" Hanzel whispered silently.

"Yes," I answered refusing to be controlled by her.

"That's great, but why did you act like you hated him then, or was it, Hanzel?" She asked curiously.

"Keep our private life private," she said.

"We have our own reasons" I answered then turned to walk out.

"You both love him don't you, I'm his sister it's my duty to protect him from any harm, that includes an unwanted heartbreak, do you love him, yes or no?" She asked seriously.

"I don't, I don't f*****g want a weakling!" Hanzel yelled as I Clenched my hands.

"Why is it always about you, I too want to make my own decision, I want to love and be loved," I said sadly.

"Sorry twin sister because of the curse I'm stuck with you and merged, it's not like you are the best company I could ever want" she answered as my heart ached badly.

I hated thinking about our past incident.

I turned and faced Aurora with tears in my eyes.

"We loved him from the very first day we set our eyes on him" I answered sadly as Hanzel groaned loudly.

"Then why do you treat him that way, like he was just a miserable kid after an older woman?" She asked.

"We have our own reasons, whatever we are doing now it's for his own good, it's better to make him believe that we hate him than to let him fall for us, we are cursed," I said with tears rolling on my cheeks.

"Cursed how?" She asked softly.

I wanted to tell her everything but I couldn't.

"I can't tell you Aurora, you are now my female leader, I know I'm suppose to listen to your orders and answer your questions but I just can't" I cried then walked out.

I was confused and torn, between my own blood and the feelings I felt.

"Hey" Daisy called in front of me softly.

I looked at her then quickly wiped off my tears.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, I am" I Answered then Walked past her.

"I know it might be hard for you to accept my son, I too would be hesitant to do just that, not only are you an ancient witch, you have been saving Shane and keno for a long time so leaving this place isn't an option, that's why I won't tell you to do that, but please think about him, how about you blow off the steam by joining me and your stubborn female leader for a stroll?" She asked.

I smiled then nodded, I really needed to blow off steam.

"Thank you, Daisy, I would love that" I answered.
