Chapter 9Nash’s body burned, fire poured through his veins and out through the wound in his side. Why the f**k wasn’t it healing? He clutched it with a clawed hand and swayed between the trees. He could smell Arlo, his scent contaminated with the acid of fear, but it was still Arlo. Snarling again, he pushed himself forward. The moon was hidden behind the clouds, but Nash didn’t need its light to be able to see, and what he saw had a black fog clouding his brain.
