Warp Unlocked

Two crescent-shaped light rushed towards the monster. Liwan then followed that attach with flurry strike. “Jay, it’s your turn. Hit it with your rage storm!” Liwan ordered. “Roger that!” “Denver, the last blow is yours. Finish the first round with spinning knife! Jay, watch your cool downs and be prepared for the last cycle of attacks. Remember the sequence.” Liwan’s friends chorused. “Aye, captain!” As soon as Shadowstrikes’ spinning knife landed on the monster, RagingInferno came with another jumping cleave. This time, their tempo was a little better compared to the first time they delivered their attacks. Still, it’s not perfect. Liwan did not stress himself out though. They still have a long way to go and has plenty of time to practice their cooperation. He knew that the three of them has different hand speeds so it’s understandable. But to build a formidable team, Liwan needs at least another two players to be their regular member for hunts in the future. His current team of three is sufficient for now, and only for grinding experience. In order to grow into power, he has to go eventually go on quests that might prove too much for his current team to handle. For now, he lacks a healer and a long ranged attacker. “One down!” Jayson exclaimed as the cursed hound let out a dying shriek before it dropped dead on the ground. Liwan smiled to himself. Their teamwork sloppy but he’s confident they’ll eventually get there. “Good job. Nineteen to go.” “Yeah.” They repeated the same attacks on each monster they locked their sights on. They killed one monster at a time until they completed the quest. Together, they went back to the Sidhe beneath the tree inside the safe zone of Enorcal. After verifying their number of kills, the Sidhe blessed each one of them the ability to warp. Liwan checked his map. A few maps are now available for him to warp into. At level 20, they managed to unlock other low level maps. Some of those new maps are homes to other classes in Soulnight. Rionas, Leeven, Aisenor and Narkta. Rionas is home to class Sidhe, Leeven is home to advance class Invoker,  Aisenor is home to Magus and advance class Warlord, and Narkta is the home of advance class Pugilist. Rionas is a land of rolling green hills, forests and streams, places Sidhe’s loves. Leeven, land of Invokers, is a land where one part is green and one part barren and dry with huge clusters of rocks here and there. The home to Magus and Warlords, Aisenor, is a land of eternal winter. Narkta on the other hand is an endless land of sand. Aside from those areas, another three map was added to the ones they can now access. Those are the Ancient Ruins of Chela, the remains of the ancient Chela civilization, Secret Prison which happened to be an underground prison of unknown origins and Sinta which is an underwater world. “What’s next, Liwan?” Denver asked after receiving the warp ability blessed by the Sidhe. “Let’s focus on getting stronger. I want to establish a guild when we reach level 100. For now, our plan is to level up. As early as now, plan your builds. So that we can save our resources for our future gears. Allocate your points wisely. Remember, this game has no reset feature. Otherwise, you’ll have to start all over again if you want to achieve an optimum build.” “I want to be a pure strength Warrior,” Jayson said. “Good. What about you, Denver?” “Hybrid Slayer. I want to make use of both this character’s physical attacks and magical attacks.” “Hmmm.” Liwan paused. His friends’ choices seem to be aligned with his plans for his character. He wanted his Blade to be a pure speed proficient Chevalier. If nothing goes wrong, his plans for establishing his team come in fruition once he finds the key members. “What about you?” Jayson asked. “I’ll stick with speed.” “What are you planning to do with Melvin, by the way?” Denver asked. “Him? He’s not important. Wait until we establish our guild. I’ll reveal my plans then. Anyway, let’s concentrate on getting stronger. Come with me to Rionas. The monsters there are not that strong compared here in Enorcal. And they come in droves. We can take them one on one. Faster kill, faster experience gain.” “Alright.” They warped to the mentioned map and was brought to flower garden in the center of Sidhe capital. Like in Enorcal, there is a Sidhe NPC who grants defense and damage blessing for low level characters like them. After getting their buffs, the three friends piled out of the safe zone. They walked into a forest with huge and ancient looking trees towering above them. Score of vines hangs from the tree branches. The sound effects of birds came through their earphones. “Wow. The sound effects are impressive. It really feels like we’re in a real forest,” Jayson observed. “Yeah,” Denver agreed. Liwan did not comment. He shifted views to take note of the surroundings. There is no monster on sight. He pushed the M key on his keyboard to show the map on his screen. He put on a marker on a certain spot in the map and closed it. Glowing directional arrows in white flashed in front of him, a visible guide to that spot he marked on the map earlier, the in-game navigator. “Let’s go find a spot.” They made their characters run with Liwan on the lead, dodging low hanging branches and densely growing trees. Sometimes, small animals cross their paths. Liwan ignored them since they’re not hostile or dangerous. “Watch out for the plants with violet leaves. They’re poisonous,” Liwan warned as his character Blade leapt over a bush with violet leaves. But his warning came too late. RagingInferno’s bulky form barreled on the mentioned plant. Shadowstrikes nimbly shifted his path to the left, avoiding crashing with RagingInferno. Liwan heard Jayson’s cursing over his headphones. ‘’f**k!” Denver and Liwan’s laugh chorused. “I’m poisoned!” Jason exclaimed. True enough, RagingInferno’s whole body turned green and frozen. “My hp is dropping!” “Don’t worry. The worst that could happen to you is you’ll die and resurrect at the safe zone. Get yourself an antidote at the Potion Merchant just beside the Wisdom Tree on the South side of the safe zone before heading out lest you encounter another nasty plant such as this on your way,” Liwan said. “Am I supposed to wait here for my death? I can’t do anything.” “Unfortunately, yes.” “What an inconvenience.”
