“This is where I will begin my story,” I tell them. “After a quick meeting,” I add. I thought it might be best to tell them everything here: under the open sky in the spot that binded me to the history of vampires.
I gesture for the kids to take a seat while my top engineer comes walking down the path.
“My Queen,” he bows lowly to me then turns, “Alpha Elijah, Prince.” He bows again to Eli and Zander.
“Thanks for coming Robbie. I just want an update on the new settlement?”
“Yes, Queen. It's coming along nicely and at a fast rate. The clan house is more open and is including more rooms for the young, single adults. Décor is already being moved. Besides that, foundations are being laid for the family houses but we are opting to let people decide their own house design
