I didn’t usually leave Grayson’s and my room in the middle of the night. I couldn’t sleep so I decided to take a walk. He was already asleep. Grayson’s words about killing the entire population of the demon realm to protect me was stuck in my head. Did that mean he didn’t care about the prophecy anymore? I couldn’t tell if this was what I wanted or not. I wanted to get it out and think less. I passed a few guards in the hall then opened the library door and slowly closed it behind me. There were so many rows of bookcases. There was even a spiral staircase that led to a second-story balcony. I saw a few computers. I also saw rows of tables to read at.
