I groaned as I heard knocking at my door for the fifth time today.
“What?” I projected my voice from bed.
“King Grayson, you have to return two more calls. You have your monthly meeting with your court that you had already postponed. You also have a list of petitions to review,” one of my assistants said. Her name was Taz I think.
“I didn’t hire you to work during the day,” I said annoyed.
“I didn’t do much work last night because you hadn’t done anything yesterday. Miss Payna told me to tell you the things you’ve missed,” she explained.
