Chapter 5 Over the next few weeks, Duncan and William settled into a comfortable routine. Each morning after Duncan got William ready for the day, William spent all day visiting with his ill father and running the estate, surrounding village, and castle. Duncan spent time training with the other squires and the knights. He rarely saw William during the day, but Duncan spent every night in William’s bed.
