When Morgan made it back to the house, she grabbed a quick sandwich and a can of soda and raced up to the library, Misty hot on her heels. She felt a driving need to discover as much information about her family as she could. Morgan had never been competitive in her life, but for some unknown reason, she felt the drive to compete with an eight-year-old child. This is ridiculous, she thought to herself. But she couldn"t deny the need to find out as much information as she could, and fast. The idea of Cordelia knowing more about the Seaver family legend than Morgan did not sit well with her. Misty wasn"t feeling quite so energetic. Finding her favorite spot of sunlight, she curled up on the window bench, knowing Morgan would soon lose herself in whatever book caught her fancy. And there w
