Morgan found the solace she was seeking on the widow"s walk. After making her way home without talking to anyone, she stashed the bike in the garage and then made her way to the widow"s walk. Misty joined her as if knowing she needed comfort, and the two curled up on the bench, watching the waves crash against the shore. The wind was picking up, and the smell of rain scented the air. Morgan sat silently, scratching Misty behind the ears, trying not to think of what had happened by the lighthouse. She could feel the vibrations of Misty"s purrs and found it was a calming sensation. Morgan closed her eyes, willing herself not to think, to let her mind go blank.
