Chapter Three Crissy’s Story As she climbed onto the bus Crissy quickly scanned the seats. The bus was almost full; only a few seats remained near the front, bench seats that faced each other across the aisle. These were the ones Crissy usually avoided. But today she had no choice. She found one between two boys and noticed their appreciative eyes flicker across her thinly-clad chest. She gave them a little smile as they shifted slightly to make more room, and she settled in between them, loosely cradling the black canvas backpack she held on her lap.
