There was only one way to find her. I had to run around this whole place like crazy, trying to find traces of her. So the first thing I did was run into all of the rooms in this corridor. All of them were perfectly cleaned up, with no signs of anyone in them. Luckily, there weren’t any more demons around. At least for now.
I opened a huge double-winged door, which was quite protesting against me opening it. It was squeaking and whatnot while I was trying to open it. It was a dining room. The candles were still lit up, while there was some food. It looked like it was eaten not long ago. If it was staying there for longer, it would be eaten up by the low-demon worms. The sight of worms crawling all over the food, which was eaten by Zia, was making my stomach tighten. I quickly left the room
