Lyra's POV
"I get why you'd ask a question like that, but no, I do not practice magic," he said, sitting on the side of the bed to make me feel tense. "I am going to transfer my life essence to you. It'll help you heal faster." The stranger added.
"You're talking about—" "precisely," I was interrupted by him.
"But I'm a weak omega you picked up in the woods. My body is too impure for you, too weak. You're an alpha right; essence transfer is a skill that can only be used by alphas." I concluded, clenching the bed sheets to myself.
"I feel obligated to save you. I don't know why; I just feel pushed to," he responded.
"But I don't want to go home. I don't want to go to my pack," I agonized. "Do you have anywhere else to go then?" he questioned.
I scoffed. He was indeed right; I had nowhere else to go. It was either going back home or dying out here in the woods. "If you can, then please help me," I gave in. I pleaded with him. I grabbed the hands of a stranger I didn't know.
The way essence transfer worked was that we had to be in physical contact with each other. Pure physical contact. I got flustered while thinking about this because I had never been seen naked by a man before, and now I was going to get in close contact with one while naked.
He took off his shirt slowly, and then his trousers, before taking off his underwear. "Do you need help?" he asked me. I couldn't help but notice his attractive features, which caught all my attention. He had broad shoulders, chiseled abs, and toned arms that looked like they had seen a lot of tough days.
"Yes, please, I can't move my limbs," I replied. The embarrassment I felt was different from every other form of embarrassment I had felt before.
I closed my eyes as he gently took off the sheets I had wrapped myself in. I let myself go. The stranger took off the shoulders of my dress and pulled it down till it came off my legs. I still couldn't open my eyes as he slid my pants down my legs and unhooked my bra without even telling me to turn over.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." His soothing voice reassured me again as he slid under the sheets.
"Okay," I responded, trying to push open my eyes. I could feel his body temperature oozing off of him. He was so warm.
"We're going to start now," he whispered right before holding me by the waist and pulling me into his embrace on the bed. The essence transfer started.
I could feel my skin rub against his. My breasts rested beside his chest as he embraced me tightly. His member rested between my thighs. It was warmer than his body.
I don't know what it was in that moment that pushed me, but I kissed him. I kissed a stranger whose name I didn't even know. Why did I kiss him? He looked shocked. I had let lust take control of me for a second.
"I'm sorry, I don't know why I just did what I did; it was a mistake." My apology got interrupted; his lips were on mine. I could feel how soft and sweet his lips tasted. I closed my eyes and allowed him to go without saying a word more.
He introduced his tongue, which felt even softer than his lips as our tongues battled. I was already secreting love fluids; he kept sliding his fingers down till I couldn't control myself anymore. He got on top of me, and we ended up satisfying our guilty pleasure.

I woke to the sound of birds singing. The sun was bright, but I wasn't with my phone, so I couldn't tell what the time was. The handsome stranger was gone. Without anything as little as a note. The cabin was almost completely empty.
My limbs felt lighter. I got up and realized my legs were back to normal. I felt full of life, like I usually do. The essence transfer ritual had worked, although we did a lot more than transferring essence the previous night.
I felt like hating him for disappearing on me after the passionate night we had, but I couldn't bring myself to hate him. Not after everything he did for me.
I grabbed my bra and put it on, slid on my pants, and wore my dirty, torn dress. My hair was a mess, but I didn't care for any of that right now. Getting back to my pack was my priority. I didn't fear being attacked by rogue wolves because they mostly came out when it was late.
I navigated my way through the forest, trying to find my way home. I realized that I couldn't remember the stranger's face. All memory of him faded from my mind, like he didn't exist. I couldn't remember his face. The only thing that stuck in my memory was his voice and the way he tasted. Those were things that could never leave my head. I was sure.
After a while of searching for a way home and still being lost, I ran into Jasper. The Alpha's beta was out in the woods. "I found you," he said, with a sigh of relief.
I couldn't fathom. Was he worried about me? Did he come all this way just to find me?
"Were you searching for me?" I inquired with my head bowed down, avoiding eye contact.
"On the Alpha's orders," he responded.
I felt a shock surge through my spine. I immediately looked up at him, and something hit my head. Everything went dark.
Occasionally, I would open my eyes to see myself floating above the ground. I was being carried by someone. My head felt heavier than it had felt the previous time.
