Ryan doesn't know how long he slept, but when he woke up he felt refreshed and ready to go. He drinks all the water he wants and fills the canteen to put it around his neck, despite Ice's protests.
As he prepared to shift, a thin, tall, pale figure appeared just a few feet from him.
“Not again!” - he thinks.
- A new blood bag. The Mistress will be pleased. - Says the figure in a sinisterly high voice.
Ryan identifies the man immediately.
“A vampire. A freaking leech” – he says to Ice and immediately shifts and says:
“It's time to show off your Alpha aura.
“I don't know how? I don't even know what we did last time"
