After seeing the state of the highlight dress, Tom knew there was no way out and declared that it would be announced that the highlight section will be scraped off. Anger was boiling at a side of his body while pain was taking over the other, the feeling of disappointment and failure was overwhelming for him, so much that he couldn’t even speak up for quite some minutes.
He scratched his hair hard in frustration and closed his eyes in defeat, engulfed in despair. He mounted the stage with heavy feet and grabbed the microphone, “Dear beloved people, we had shown the snippet of tonight’s highlight dress but we are sad to announce that we will not be revealing it today because we discovered that we need to reserve it for another greater event where it will be revealed in its full glory”.
