Sleep

D*mn, I can't sleep this way. I feel... *swallow* I'm wasting my chance if I sleep. Chance for what? Ugh! Just sleep! I wanna be awake for the long ride to the resort tomorrow. The ride is what I'm after instead of the resort. Slowly, I begin to feel drowsy and eventually, slept. Just when I wake up, the first thing I see is her face... So, this is how she looks up close when sleeping. As she lies sideways, facing me, her lips are half-opened. I just noticed her eyelashes are long. Her skin is flawless and looks a little blue because of this darkness. It just shows how fair and white skin she has. This has never happened for a while that I woke up for like, at around 3 a.m. as the clock on my phone says. I feel my right shoulder and put to my neck is stiff. I'm not used to lying sideways anymore. Maybe this is why I woke up. I feel I need to stretch. I sit up and sh*t!!! Argh! It's so painful! “Ugh...,” I groan. “What is it?” she asks, squinting her eyes, looking at me. “You're awake?” “I can't sleep that much.” She closes her eyes again. “My shoulder is painful... sh*t.” “Oh, I thought you had a wet dream.” “Don't talk anymore.” “Okay, babe,” she teases again and giggles. I just roll my eyes and went out to take a pee. Also, my throat is dry so I need to drink water. After taking a pee, I went to the fridge in the kitchen and drink two glasses of cool water. Yeah, that feels good. Maybe she needs water too. Okay, I'll bring one glass to her. Back to the room, I hold a glass of water in my hand. My right hand opens the doorknob. To go along with her joke, I say, “I brought you a glass of water, babe.” I couldn't help but be smug just as she rolls to turn her face at me, smiling. “You sound so disgusting,” she mocks. “As do you.” I kneel beside her as she sits up. She drinks the water I give her., After sighing, she says, “Thank you, babe.” I yawn and answer, “You're welcome, ‘babe’.” I smile sarcastically and she answers with a ridiculous face. Then I lie down at her right, facing away from her. For a few minutes, nothing happened until she says, “‘Babe’ is quite a cliche, don't you think?” “Tch, why would I care? I wanna sleep, so shut up.” “You're so rude to me, honey.” “Dafuq, quit it. You're creeping me out.” “Sugar?” “No.” “Love?” “Ugh! That's the worst! Just sleep!” “I can't.” “Then I'm figuring out that you're messing with me because you want me to do something about it.” “Yeah.” *Sigh* “What do you want?” “Dunno, just do something to make me fall asleep. I don't wanna have eye bags.” “You want me to serve you? Hell, no. Sleep on the bed if you're not comfortable here.” “It's making me sweat.” “That's not my problem. So, shush... I'm gonna sleep.” “You're a useless boyfriend,” she mutters. “This is not even a real relationship,” I answer. “And you sound like a girl. Stop it.” She chuckles behind me for a few seconds then sighs. I can tell that she's sitting up. “How about I sleep while n*aked?” “Not in this room.” “You can't stop me. It's your fault your room doesn't have AC.” She's making a sound as she removes her clothes behind me. I dare not to open my eyes. “I don't like AC,” I argue. “It makes my throat dry. You had your chance to sleep in my sister's room that has AC but you refused it. It's your fault.” “Whatever.” The mattress sounds when she lies down on it. After a few seconds of the rustling of the sheets and pillows, she settles down. Only to complain, “It's still making me sweat! F*ck this room!” “Quiet down!” I whisper. “If you don't want to sleep here, then get out.” She grumbles, settling down. Then I just realized I was being too hard on her. Maybe I should do something for her. She's my girlfriend, after all. And I did mention that I want to treat this relationship like it's real. Okay, then. “Dress, up,” I speak. “What?” “I'm going to fan you until you fall asleep.” “You will?” “Yeah.” “Really?” “Yes! So, get on with it!” “Okay, thank you, babe!” she thanks, making rustling sounds while she's wearing her clothes. “You done?” I ask. “Yeah.” “Okay.” I stand up and although it's a bit dark, I can see she has her clothes and lying on the bed with her eyes closed, smiling. “What the hell are you smiling about?” “Nothing...,” she answers. Meanwhile, I grab my foldable fan from my bag and open the window to let the cool air in. I return to the bed, walking on it, walking over her, and sit at her left so I won't block the wind coming from the electric fan. Lastly, I open the window next to the bed. The cool air enters. “You're acting like a girl, don't you know that?” I ask, fanning her face. “Maybe, I am,” she smiles. “What's your gender—for real?” “I dunno.” “You're queer?” “Hmm...,” she's figuring out her answer. “maybe.” “Then your parents have a bit of hope to have grandchildren.” “Are you suggesting that you want to be the father?” “What?! No!” She giggles, poking my side, tickling me. I jolt like a worm. “Stop it! Sleep!” She stops, closing her eyes. Her smile is still on her face. “Good night, babe,” she says. “Good night,” I answer. Well, good night for her while I still have to stay awake to fan her thick face. She's queer? Does it mean that there's a chance that she's really a girl? I'm not sure. I'm very confused myself. This confusion makes me think twice about how to treat her. When I try to treat her as a girl, she becomes a tomboy or lesbian. But when I treat her otherwise, she becomes a girl. She's very hard to deal with. I can't think of a single way to act when I'm around her. Morning came about in a way I thought it was only a second. And what the- I'm putting my left arm over her waist as she lies sideways facing away from me. How did my hand end up there? Anyways, I have to slowly remove it from her. There... I finally removed it without waking her up. She's still asleep. Strangely, I woke up earlier than her. Oh, she didn't have enough sleep last night—that's why. Well, I have to go to the bathroom. D*mn, it's very chilly! Now that it is, it's a good idea to cover her with a blanket, so I did. I cover her up to her neck, warm and tight. To not wake her up, I gently get off of the bed. My mind is still dull when I walk to the door. What time is it? I take a look at my phone and it's 6 a.m. I slept poorly. Sh*t. Now, I'm not gonna enjoy the ride, looking at the view. But it was worth it. She slept well. It's f*ckin' hard to pee while having a b*ner. I can't control my pee, so some of it missed the toilet bowl. I had to wash it off with water. I can't stop thinking that I was holding her while I sleep. The feeling of holding her waist is... Ugh! Stop! This f*ckin' mind... After that, I went to the kitchen and grab breakfast for both of us. I made coffee and grab some bread from the fridge. Now, let's get back to my room. Walking there, I hold the mugs in each hand then the pack of bread under my armpit. Oh, I'm so stupid. I can't open the door this way. So, I put my coffee on the floor and open the door. She's still sleeping. I grab the coffee and enter the room, kicking it close after I did. I put the bread and her coffee on the desk beside the bed. Now that I remember, the coffee will be cold when she wakes up. I'm so dull this morning. I should've waited. To wait for her, I sit on the floor, looking at my phone and eating my breakfast. Minutes later, she yawns. “Good morning, babe,” I greet her. “Yeah...,” she says, stretching. “good morning.” She notices the coffee and bread on the desk. “Is that mine?” “Yeah, although it might be cold now.” Sitting up and grabbing the mug, she says, “Thank you.” She takes a sip and sprays it to me! “F*ck!” I react. “What's wrong with you?! I'm all wet now. Geez!” “What kind of sh*t is this?!” “Coffee!” “Is this... ugh... coffee mix?” “Yes!” “You have the stomach to drink this?!!” “What are you talking about? It's tastes just fine!” “I can't believe my first boyfriend is such an uncultured swine!” “What do you- Argh, never mind! Just gimme that!” I grab the mug from her. “Look what you've done. You even stained the bedsheets!” While I'm walking to the door, she says, “It was your fault for making me drink sh*t. Bring me real coffee!” “Make it yourself, you spoiled little tomboy.” I close the door and she stayed there. I have to take a bath after this. So, I return to my room after putting the mugs on the sink. She's just looking at her phone and eating bread. “Get ready for the day,” I tell her. “we're gonna leave soon.” “Okay,” she answers, still looking at her phone. She still did the same after I grab what I need to take a bath. On the way to the bathroom, I come across Mom. “Good morning, Mom.” “Good morning,” she says. “I see you're gonna take a bath. How about little Lizzy?” “She's awake and will soon take a bath.” Then she narrows her eyes, suspiciously asking, “You two didn't do ‘anything’ last night, did you?”
