“What do you think about us having s*x?”
“Huh?!!” I jolt out of surprise. “Why are you talking about that?!”
“You think it's weird? Okay, I think so, too.”
“I don't think it's weird but-”
“But what?” she asks, turning her head, looking at me over her shoulder as she lies down on her belly.
“You only like to do that with girls.”
“I know but I kinda want to explore it. I'm wondering, how does it feel when a d*ck is inside me?” She chuckles, raising her hips to push under me.
“Stop! Someone might hear us. Just let me massage you and no more jokes.”
“Okay, babe.” She sighs. A minute later she says, “Your touch is making me h*rny.” and giggles.
“I said, stop!” I scold her and slap the side of her shoulder.
“Slap me harder, bae!”
“Ugh, that's it, I'm done!” I get off of her.
“No, I still want a massage!” she pleads.
“I told you to stop and you didn't listen.”
“I promise I won't mess with ya again. So, please, give me a massage, babe. I'm so tired.”
Her pleading face is hard to ignore! Also, I still want to touch her skin. D*mn! “Okay!” I yell, pointing at her. “I give you one last chance!”
“Love you, babe,” she giggles.
So, I return massaging her back, and... what the hell? She said she loves me? She could be joking, right?
“Kevin?” calls Mom from the other side of the door.
I quickly get off of Eli and she wears her shirt before I answer, “What is it, Mom?”
“They're here. Both of you can come out now.”
“Okay, we'll be there!” Then I tell Eli, “Dress up now.”
She nods and starts changing while I went to my bag to find my suitable clothes. Ugh... I don't have good enough clothes. Well, f*ck it. I'll wear what's there. Then I notice that she's starting to wear a white off-shoulder. Her cleavage is gonna show! My cousins will fantasize about her!
So, I tell her, “Hey, wear clothes that are appropriate for a family dinner.”
“What? What do you mean?”
“Just do what I say.”
“I don't give a f*ck about what you think! I'm gonna wear what I want.”
“Just listen,” I argue. “my cousins will look at you and-”
“It bothers you?” she smiles above her shoulder as she wears white pants.
“Yes,” I answer.
“Just think about it, they'll be so jealous at their cousin who has a blazingly s*xy girlfriend.”
“I don't care about making them jealous. I just don't like the idea of other guys looking at you. I know that they'll think of you in an inappropriate way.”
“Awww...,” she expresses out of endearment. “you sound so cute, babe. You care about me that much?”
“To be honest, yes,” I nod, looking to the side. I'm so f*ckin' embarrassed!
“Okay. For you, I'll wear less revealing clothes.”
“Thank you!” I thank her sarcastically and continue finding my clothes.
My choice of clothes is limited so I could only wear a simple yellow t-shirt and jeans. Meanwhile, she wears skinny jeans and an oversized pink shirt. She looks so pretty.
“How do I look?” she asks.
“Good enough,” I tell her and she frowns right away. “What?” I ask.
“Nothing,” she rolls her eyes, turning to face the door.
There it is, again. I'm treating her like a tomboy then she starts acting like a girl. Was she expecting me to compliment her more? Should I give her that? I think I should.
Before opening the door, I kiss the side of her head, and whisper, “You look gorgeous.”
She smiles looking at the floor, grabbing my arm as I open the door for us. Then raising her chin a bit, we walk our way to the living room. The family of my mother's sister is already there sitting at the table with our family. The name of my aunt is Rosa and her husband's name is George.
They have two sons that are one and two years older than me. I kinda don't like these two because they're arrogant and unnecessarily boastful. Their family is far richer so they have cooler gadgets and expensive clothes than us. When we were kids, they bring those things when they visit us just to make me jealous, not even letting me try them. Also, when we visit, both of them play the PlayStation and only making me watch them play. They reason was that I could break the controller—which is far-fetched. They're just stingy. Then when we became high school students, they brag about their girlfriends. I can say that their girlfriends were all pretty and that they're the ones who are breaking up with them because... I don't know... they think they deserve better. Very arrogant, indeed. So, lately, what they brag about is how many hot girlfriends they've had. But for me, I see it as how many times they failed to show commitment. Right now, they even look a bit dorky because of their polos and combed hair. But the handsomeness of their faces is not leveled the same as their skyrocketing confidence. They just look... annoying.
The older brother's name is Austin and the younger one is Bennett. They are sitting right side by side at Kyle's left—who is sitting right next to Sophia then Dad. The seating plan is that we children must sit near each other so we could talk. I hate it as much as Sophia hates it. She and I disagree with many things but both of us agree that we hate our cousins.
Mom is sitting at the host seat, Dad is at her right, going counter-clockwise, followed by Kyle, Sophia, Austin, Bennett at the end of the table, I sit next to him (so that I can keep Eli away from him), Eli is at my right, Uncle George, Aunt Rosa, and then Mom at the host seat—as I have said.
Earlier, when Eli and I walked to the table, both of my cousins were not looking at me but I knew that they knew I was there. They just pretended. Now, they look timid as they eat. They're not boastful as they were before. Maybe it's because of Eli's pretty girl presence that silences boys. Our parents are busy talking and eating while we children are mostly quiet.
“So,” Austin speaks from the other side of the table. “what's the name of your friend right there?”
He smiles while looking at her. She doesn't mind him and just continues eating her food with grace. He never met Eli because their visits started after she went away.
I answer, “She's my girlfriend, Elizabeth.”
He laughs, treating what I said like a joke. “I haven't seen you around. Where do you live?”
“Japan,” she answers without showing any interest in talking further.
“Woah, really? I love Japan! It's where anime we love come from.” He sounds freaking lame. “What about your parents? Are they here in the Philippines too?”
“No,” she answers.
“Too bad. I would've loved to meet them, tell them that they have a pretty daughter.”
He's getting ahead of himself. They just met and he dares to say that. I know it was just a harmless compliment but I feel that it's not right. I feel that he has an intention. But if I try to stop him, I'll be branded as being much of a jealous snowflake.
“No thanks,” she says, smiling nicely. “the only person I plan to introduce to them is Kevin—my boyfriend.”
Oh... that warms my heart.
He is still smiling but silent for a moment. A second later he says, “I'm sure they could spare a time for-”
“They're unbelievably busy,” she cuts. “and they have no time for other people except, of course, for my boyfriend. They love him.” She smiles before continue eating.
What a rejection that was!!
“Oh, I see, ” he nods and has nothing to say anymore but just eat.
I can't resist but half-smile as I eat too. Hear that, you sucker? I'm the only one for her! Haha, burn!
“Kev,” Bennett calls me. “have you seen the new phone model?”
“Yeah,” I nod.
“Dad is planning to buy two of them for us.” His eyes are widening and his tone is clearly telling me to be jealous. But...
“Oh, you mean this?” I ask, showing him the phone Eli bought me. “Elizabeth bought it for me.” He gasps a little but then his smile slowly fades.
“She bought it for you?” asks Austin. “You're supposed to be the one who's spending for the girl, Kev, come on...”
Then I notice that Sophia is getting irritated by the second.
“He earned it,” says Eli. “he helped me with all of my problems. A simple phone is nothing compared to what he has given me.”
“Emotional support? That's overrated.”
“Yeah, be smarter, Elizabeth,” adds Bennett.
These a*sholes...
“Both of you are nothing but jerks!” Sophia speaks out, standing from her seat. “Shut up if you don't have nice things to say!”
“Sophia!” Mom scolds her.
“These two are being rude!” she reasons, pointing at the two of them.
“What?” asks Austin, smiling like he's innocent. “What are you talking about? We're just talking. Right, Kev?” he asks me.
I'm hesitating since I'm right next to his father but I have to side with my sister and I know we're in the right. “No, both of you are being rude. I'm sorry, Uncle George,” I apologize to him. “but my sister is right.”
“I know,” he says. “I heard what you guys talked about.”
“Father,” Bennett tries to reason. “they're lying! We were just talking.”
Then their father says, “Boys, apologize.”
Austin argues, “But-”
“Do it or else...”
Both of them sigh and say, “We're sorry.”
“I'm sorry about that,” Uncle George apologizes to Mom and Dad. This is why I like him more than his sons. He's very cool and calm.
“It's okay,” Mom takes his apology.
Our dinner went on and with us cousins not talking anymore. Only our parents talked and they get along well unlike us. I'm itching to get out of this table as soon as possible until it did.
“At last!” sighs Eli, lying on the bed. “it's over!”
I sigh too, sitting on the bed then. “Yeah, it is,” I nod.
“Your cousins are idi*ots. They're far worse than I thought! I'm glad you didn't let me wear revealing clothes or I would've let them laid their cursed eyes on me.”
“I told ya.”
“You know, I love your sister.”
“Woah, stop right there.”
“That's not what I mean. I mean that I love her personality. She's f*ckin' brave, man...”
“That's why I'm quite scared of her... sometimes.”
“I want to know her more. She's got my interest. How about we go out with her?”
I look to the side, thinking about it. “I think that's a good idea but how? She's very hard to approach, you know.”
“Oh, I have dealt with this kind of girl. Just watch and learn.” She's looking at the ceiling with a disturbing smile on her face.
“Don't even think about flirting with her.”
