"Give me the baby, Miss." One of the maids said they were trying to take Leo away from me. Unease ran through my spine. This is not a good sign. I can't let anyone take my son away from me.
"Stay away from me. I won't let you have my baby." I threatened, hugging Leo tightly.
"Stop being stubborn and give her your baby. It's not like you will get to see each other again anyway." The leader of the guards said. His words echoed in my ear. I was literally losing my mind. What did he mean by that? Where is he taking my son?
"Please hand over your baby to me before the general gets angry." The maid said, extending her hand to me.
"General? How is he a general? Do you mean beta?" I asked with my mouth hanging loosely.
"Yes, he is the beta of this pack," she replied, trying to snatch Leo away
