Author’s Pov
Jake noticed something was bothering Logan since they left the Lunar pack because he was acting strange, and he was unusually quiet. They were sitting in the back of a car that was being driven by one of Logan’s guards.
Jake sat up in the car and turned to look at Logan, who was looking out the window.
"What’s wrong, alpha, is something wrong?" Jake questioned, clutching the briefcase that was on his right-hand side. Logan slowly looked at him with a straight face.
"Nothing, I was just thinking…" Logan said, and paused. "Last time, you told me a witch came looking for me. Have you managed to find her?" Logan questioned.
"Yes, I did, but I heard she was out of town," Jake replied. Wondering why Logan was suddenly interested in the witch.
The remaining drive home was quiet
