He was startled; he didn’t know she was awake. He felt like his love life was boring and it always revolved around Logan being her mate. He wasn’t the most important man in her life and wanted to be important. He wanted to profess his love to her after the court hearing, but he wanted to make sure Logan wouldn’t bother her again after that.
He turned around to look at her with a toothy grin. She maintained eye contact with him as she jumped down from the bed and walked over to him. She extended her hand to take the tray from him.
"Um, well I..." He was lost for words as she took the tray from him and, with her gaze fixed on the food, she sat on the table and grabbed the spoon from the tray. She sniffed the eggs and bacon one more time before taking a sip of the coffee in a stylish way.
