I'm not sure why he suddenly declared that I was the one, but his outburst terrified me. "Are you sure about that, bro?" The man whose gun is currently pointed at my forehead was asked by the crew's leader.
"I'm certain of my assumption. Can't you see the write-up on the card?" He enquired of the in-charge boss.
They are all staring at the card intently. "Kill anyone you meet at the cemetery." The leader declares, and it appears that he is currently reading what the card entails.
I urinate on myself, so my eyes are dilated and my pants are wet. "The card only contains the address." I mumble, tears streaming down my cheeks.
The man who I had long assumed to be the leader approached me and placed the card in front of me. 'Make sure you kill those at the cemetery and feed their corpse a pie.'
That was the text written inside the card, and I felt my head about to explode. "The... I can tell you the truth, this card... this card wasn't like this when it was handed over to me." I stammer while pleading with all of them.
"But this is the card you just handed me. You said it's a card to prove that you..."
"Boss, we haven't yet buried the lady, so please kill him so that we can bury them all together." A voice from the crowd declares coldly.
I knelt on my knees. "Please don't kill me. You can't give life, so why take it away from others?" I inquired. My vision is becoming blurry due to the tears that have filled my eyes.
The leader scuffed as he grabbed my shirt with both hands. "Do you only see me as demonic?" He inquired, and I shook my head sideways.
My body is currently trembling, and my knees are so weak that I believe I will collapse soon.
He lifted me from the floor, his hands on my collar.
The leader had just carried me as if I were a piece of garbage, and he was staring at me fiercely.
His coffee brown eyes were cold and deadly. "Jack, bring me the saw." He declares, turning around to face the man who had just urged him to kill me.
The man's name appears to be Jack.
Jack approached the car van and immediately began looking for the saw. "I can't find it, boss." Jack declares, and he is still inside the van.
The boss exhaled, releasing me, and he made his way towards the van, as well as his fellow companions.
'Do they intend to kill me with the saw?' I am terrified and question myself. I was now alone because they had all entered the van.
'Run, Emery, flee for your life.' A voice whispers to me.
I wanted to ignore the voice at first, but the fact that I would almost certainly be killed if I remained seated on the floor caused me to reconsider.
I immediately get up from the floor, and to my surprise, they are all busy looking for the saw in the van.
I dash as fast as my legs will carry me into my boss's van.
I exhale and inhale, and my heart is racing so fast that it feels like it's about to leap out of my chest. 'Please help me, Lord.' I mumble under my breath.
I restarted the car engine after another deep inhalation.
The sound of turning on the car immediately drew the attention of those who were about to murder me. "Get him. He's trying to run!" The leader yelled, causing everyone to get out of the car and sprint towards my van.
'It's now or never, Emery.' I muttered to myself before stepping on the gear, and the car began to move.
The car accelerated before those following me could get any closer.
They all ran back to their cars and then trailing behind me.
I drive my van at full speed, making sure they can't catch up with me. "Get out of the car, punk." Jack yelled as he fired the bullet at the van, causing it to strike my van tyre.
I believe he's so skilled with a gun because it takes a skilled professional to successfully aim the tyre of a moving car.
My heartbeat quickens, and a stream of hot tears falls from my eyes.
I despise my current situation, and I need God's assistance.
Currently. I'm not sure where I'm going, but I'm running for my life.
Because of the extreme high speed, the van appears to be floating in the air.
It's difficult for me to keep driving, but those behind me are keeping up with me.
Finally, I enter a beautiful city filled with light.
They were moving vehicles as well as individuals passing by.
I decided to pull over because I couldn't keep driving forever.
My car came to a halt, and I turned around to discover that those who were following me were nowhere to be found.
I exhale. 'Thank goodness,' I mumble, but I had no idea that to my right lay an open road.
A car driving at full speed was suddenly seen. I quickly tried to close my car door, but it became stuck, so I decided to quickly accelerate the car engine, but everything happened so quickly.
The car collided with mine at full speed, causing my car to fly through the air as it rolled over.
I was caught off guard, and because I wasn't wearing my seat belt, I found myself flying out of the car.
When my body hit the cold road, I became immobile.
My vision became blurry, and my head hurt. A loud sound rang inside my head, and it hurt like hell.
I was too weak to call for help, and when I forced myself to see, the first thing I saw was a pool of blood.
