The moon light was shining brightly when Serenity woke up. She tossed back and forth and tried to fall back to sleep, but she couldn’t. With a sigh she got up and decided to get some air. She left her room and walked down the hall, stopping for a second by her favorite balcony. She decided that recently she had been ending up in awkward situations on that balcony and thought maybe she should go for a walk outside in the garden instead.
The light of the moon lit up the night, making it easy to see in the dark. Serenity breathed in the cool, crisp air as she strolled through the flower garden. She made her way to the center, where a bench was located, and sat there enjoying the peace.
“Who are you meeting here at this time of night, young lady?” Alex asked in a fake scolding tone.
