Aphrodite: Prying my eyes open took more effort than it should, but when I finally managed, I realised I was lying on a bed as soft as clouds. The only sound I could hear was the steady beeping of a heart monitor. As my gaze roamed the room, I recognised it as Asher's bedroom. The realisation made me sit up so fast that I felt dizzy for a second, but it quickly cleared. I looked around in confusion, wondering how the hell I had ended up in his room and on his bed.
