Before Jenny could react to what was happening, she saw Lily sulking. Jenny knew that this outburst must have been related to her.
"You, did you upset the Chairman?" Jenny asked furiously. She really wanted to know what happened between them to cause Lucas to be so upset.
Lily squatted down to pick up the pieces on the floor and said, "Nothing, the Chairman disliked the coffee I brewed. It wasn't strong enough for his liking, so he had an angry fit."
Jenny looked at her doubtfully and questioned, "Things are definitely not that simple?" She looked at Lucas, who was standing motionless and still staring terrifyingly at Lily.
“Ouch." Lily winced painfully as a shard of the cup sliced her finger. Bright red blood oozed out of her fingertip.
