“Miss, you cannot take him out,” the nurse sternly cautioned.
“Please, just for a while. We’ll be back right away.” Lily kept apologizing and dragged Lucas out of the ward.
“Miss! Miss!” A group of nurses began to chase them. Lily quickly pushed Lucas into his blue Ferrari and sped off.
“Please don’t misunderstand. I brought you out with some conditions,” Lily said as she tried to catch her breath. Lucas closed his eyes and welcomed the feeling of being out of the hospital. He was finally out of that damned bed!
“I did not agree to anything,” he said nonchalantly.
Lily jammed the brakes and yelled, “How can you go back on your word?”
