One thing the Alpha disliked, was barging into his office without a knock. Everyone knows that, even Athena. She had managed to respect that for her mental health's sake, given she knew exactly why her husband strictly reacted whenever someone violated his privacy.
Rowen knew the rules but he had no idea of what was behind them. He couldn't hold his rage in check. Inwardly, he was brimming with animosity over the news he had learned about, and couldn't wait a minute, as Demetrius' secretary had requested of him at the mayor's office. He strode to the door with the fury that was twisting his sanity and pushed open the door before the secretary could stop him.
