Unlike yesterday, today's weather started off dreich, with lower murky banks of clouds in the sunless sky. The lustreless light of the day made it much more unspirited as it was quiet and dull.
I could feel my eyes leaden with sleep since I didn't even blink while my mind multi-tasked on different issues all through the arid night hours. I had stared out through the window from dusk til the first light, letting the wintry wind re-dry my teary face.
