"Flight 427 will be boarding shortly, passengers please make their way towards gate C", the announcement said. I picked up Mason from the seat beside and our carry on bag, and then walked towards the gate. I walked up to the desk and handed over our tickets while the lady politely smiled. She then touched Mason's hand gently and made a silly face causing Mason to laugh. We walked through to first class where Mason and I had a room to ourselves. It had a little crib to the side where Mason could play with his toys and sleep comfortably. Mason started sucking on his hand so I pulled out the bottle I had prepared before we left, the air hostess offered to heat it up for me and I thanked her. "Mason no... Now look you've got applesauce on your face", I sighed wiping the applesauce off with my finger and licking it off. After the applesauce, I gave Mason his bottle letting him hold it as he had learned how to. 10 minutes later he had finished and was slowly drifting off, I quickly burped him then rocked him back and forth stroking his cheek. I watched as his eyes slowly closed and in no time Mason fell asleep in my arms. I thought to myself 'I am so blessed to have this little angel in my life'. I love Mason so much, no one will ever take him away from me anyone who tries to will be sorry. I gently placed him in the crib and put his little blue blanket over him and then I sat back and decided to do Pack Work for the next 6 hours. ------6 Hours Later------ 'Ladies and Gentlemen, the captain has switched on seatbelt sign. Can everyone please buckle up as we will be landing shortly.' The announcement said. I had to hold Mason when we landed I picked him up, trying hard not to wake him and sat down putting the seatbelt on. I looked out at the view of LA. "Home sweet home", I said as the plane landed. Mason was still asleep in my arms as we left the plane I'm glad he was asleep through the most of the journey, otherwise, he would've been a pain. I went out to the waiting area and spotted my mum and dad instantly. Mostly because my mum was jumping up and down and waving her arms around like a mad woman. They both ran up to me but stopped once they saw the sleeping Mason. Mum gently hugged me and stoked Mason's cheek. I gave him to her and watched as she stared at him with so much love, I turned to my dad and started to cry. "I missed you so much, dad!", I cried into his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me an kissed my head. "I missed you to princess", he replied. We stayed like that for a little while before we went to get our bags and started to head back to the Pack House. ------25 Minutes Later------ Mason woke up and not being able to see me he cried, I quickly turned from my seat at the front so Mason could see I was with him. Soon enough he stopped crying and started to giggle as mum played with him. "So James has been doing an amazing job, taking over things while you weren't there. He really misses you", my dad said as he drove up the packs long bumpy driveway. We had to drive deeper into the woods to the packhouse, which was basically a massive mansion. What I loved best about the packhouse was that there was a huge lake at the back, which was surrounded by the forest. I'm so glad that Mason can grow up around a beautiful place like this just like I did. After we parked and got out the car my dad turned to my mum. "My turn now! Maggie, give me my grandson I want to give him cuddles", my dad said as my mum turned Mason around in her arms so he was facing my dad. Mason giggled and held his arms out to my dad. God, he's such a cutie. I kissed his head as mum and I grabbed our bags, my dad lifting Mason into the air. Cute little giggles where constantly leaving his mouth making me smile wide. Then I heard it. A growl. I instantly went into defence mode, as did my mum and dad. I held out my hand. " Take mason inside", I growled as a large black wolf pounced out of the trees and charged towards me head on. I dodged it but it kept running I began to panic because it was going straight for Mason. 'Pup! Protect pup!', Lucy growled. I ran towards it and tacked it, we rolled around on the ground as it started to scratch at my shoulder. I could hear Mason screaming in the background but that just gave me motivation. I shifted and bit down on its shoulder making it go limp. I turned to Mason and my father who sighed and smiled holding Mason close. I walked over to my bags shifted back and changed into sweats and a black Nike sports bra. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail as I walked over to Mason who was still crying and screaming. I took him in my arms, cuddling him and placing kisses on his cheek. He stopped crying and instead started to giggle again, so I gave him back to my dad. "I still got it ", I said. They nodded as we walked into the house but no one was there and I really, really wanted to see James. "Where is everyone?", I asked as I placed my bags down, looking around the house and still seeing no one. "It's training day so they'll all be down by the lake. But probably not even doing anything because only about four of them, James, Latin, Gale and Chandler actually do train. The rest just sit there", dad said, an angry look in his eyes forming. "Don't worry they won't be sitting around for long, I'll get right to it can you please watch Mason for me while I train the Pack?", I said, giving Mason a kiss. They smiled and nodded. "Okay, so his clothes are in those two bags, toys in that one. If he gets hungry there's baby formula and food in that bag and when he's done eating, you guys can give him a bath and then after that it'll be time for Mason to go to bed", I said as he kicked his legs and giggled. " Don't worry, we stocked up of baby things before you arrived and he also has his own room. Hopefully, now they will listen", my mother said and I smiled. "They will otherwise it's going to be extra patrols and dungeon duty".
