Meeting Mate

It's been weeks and I haven't found her yet. Her scent just vanished in thin air, along with her. If would've been for those rouges and vampires attacking my pack, I would definitely look for her myself. I even stopped sleeping around with different girls.

I'm in my office right now doing some alpha work. Then I stopped when Jax mind linked me.

'Dude, Lucas said the weapons are ready. We can now see the sample.' Jax said through our pack link.

'Okey. I'll just finish what I am doing.' I answered.

I finished my work in a couple of minutes. Then I mind linked Jax and Chester to meet me by the front door.

When I reached the front door, they are already waiting for me.

"Lucas said we can see the weapons this afternoon. He said he's busy this morning. I guess he is, coz I heard a girl talking in the background." Jax said wiggling his eyebrows. I just rolled my eyes.

"Lucas is pretty good looking for a 500 year old vampire." Chester said grinning like a maniac.

"Seriously. Let's just be thankful he doesn't cause any trouble to humans, and handy enough to help us with the artillery. Whatever he does with his women is out of our concern." I retaliated.

"And besides, he's a good man. I haven't heard of him having his beloved or whoring around. The girl must be special." I added. They just looked at me.

"What?" I asked them, and they just shook their heads.

"We better visit every sentry first before heading towards Lucas."

They nodded and we hopped in my truck.

CAMILLA

I've been spending a lot of time with Lucas. I need to keep my mind of my mate. Being with Lucas calmed me but it felt wrong. He's taking care of me despite of him being busy with weapons; he's making for the pack. He said the pack needs help because of endless rouge attacks and vampire. Those vampires were either newborn fledglings or half lings. Whoever leading them is seriously messed up.

Right now, I'm enjoying Lucas' every kiss and touch in every inch of my body. I moaned loudly when he begun thrusting back and forth. It felt really good but not satisfying. It felt all wrong. Even Alcione kept on barking at me. She wants her mate.

When Lucas made his release, we just cuddled.

"So, you're not busy anymore?" I asked him.

"I guess. But I'll be having a visitor later." He said while stroking my hair.

"Do you want me to go?" I asked and he kissed my forehead.

"Of course not. I want you here."

A little later, Lucas got up and slipped into his boxers and jeans. Then he went to the kitchen to make us some snack.

I got out of bed and went to pick up my undies and went to the bathroom and took a shower. After I showered, I wore my undies and dried my hair. Then I laid back on the bed.

A couple of minutes later, I heard a knock on the front door. That must be Lucas' visitor. I got out of bed and grabbed Lucas' shirt, and wore it. The shirt is big enough to cover my bottoms. I pulled my hair into a messy bun, and I got out of Lucas' room. I went towards the kitchen counter where 2 sandwiches and 2 glasses of juice is. I took a bite of the sandwich and drank some of the juice. While I was drinking, I smelled the intoxicating scent again. Oh s**t.

"Mate." The voice came from the living room.

When we got to Lucas' house, Jax knocked twice before the door opened. Standing before us, is the shirtless Lucas, and his scent screamed s*x.

"Had a great time Luc?" Chester asked.

Lucas just shook his head and chuckled. Then he let us in and settled in the living room.

"Got the sample?" I asked him.

He just nodded and took a box from the coffee table. He opened it and took out a gun, and gave it to me. It looks like a natural 45 caliber pistol, but it seems light.

"It is made of plastic. Some vampires have the gift of controlling metals, so I made it plastic. Look inside." Lucas said.

I took out the magazine and looked at its bullets. The base of the bullet is made up of gold; the tip is made up of wood, while the center has a glowing violet like substance with silver particles.

"What is that?" Jax asked Lucas still looking at the bullet.

"UV rounds with traces of silver and wolfs bane." Lucas said proudly.

“Hmmm. Impressive. Enough damage for both vampires and rouges." I said. I put the mag back inside the pistol and gave it back to Lucas.

"Good job Lucas. I'll have some of my members to pick up the weapons." I said

"Fine with me, alpha." Lucas said.

Then I heard a door opened and closed. A strong wave of that delicious intoxicating scent filled my nostrils. That's when I saw a dark haired girl walked towards the kitchen. She's only wearing a man's shirt that barely covered her perfectly round ass and exposed her sexy long legs. I sensed her tensed up but I can smell that she's human. My wolf Ryker is jumping and growling inside my head, calling for his mate.

"Mate." I said, loud enough for everyone to hear. I noticed Lucas tensed up. He turned his gaze towards the girl.

"Turn around." I ordered the girl.

She placed the glass back on the counter and turned around slowly. That's when I saw her beautiful face. Our eyes met and instantly I fell in love with her. Her long dark hair framed her cute face, and her hazel green eyes are so enchanting. She walked towards us but she chose to go to Lucas' side instead. That's when I smelled their scents on one another.

I lunged at Lucas and grabbed his throat.

"Lucas!! How dare you touch my mate?!" I growled.

His eyes widened and then he looked at my beautiful mate. But she looked away.

"I didn't know she's your mate alpha." Lucas said calmly looking down.

"I already sensed her a few weeks ago but she vanished without a trace! Tell me Lucas, did you or did you not keep my mate from me??!!" I asked.

Jax and Chester pulled me off Lucas. He looked at me straight.

"I'm sorry to hear that alpha. I really didn't know . If I was keeping her from you, I wouldn't have invite you here knowing she's here." Lucas said.

"Liam calm down. Lucas has a point." Chester said.

I took several deep breaths to calm myself. My wolf wanted to come out and ripped Lucas to pieces for touching our mate.

Lucas turned to my beautiful mate with sadness in his eyes.

"Is he really your mate?"

My mate nodded.

"You knew for a while now didn't you? Lucas asked and she nodded again.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Lucas yelled at her.

I growled at him for yelling at my mate.

"Because I don't want to lose you! I know the moment I found my mate you'll give me to him! Lucas, I just got you back!!" My mate said.

I felt my heart shattered into pieces. She wanted Lucas.

"Can't you fight for me Lucas? I want to stay with you." She said.

"As I've said before, I'll let you go once you found your mate. Just like what you did for me when I found mine." Lucas said to my mate, caressing her cheek.

My wolf doesn't like other male touching what's ours. Then I noticed tears pouring down her cheeks.

"I'll always be your friend and loyal servant, my lady." Lucas said.

Loyal servant? What does he even mean by that? Then I noticed something on my mate's eyes. I think it just flashed something yellow.

"Fine! But that doesn't mean I accept him!" She exclaimed and pushed Lucas aside. Then she ran back inside the room and locked herself in.

I was stunned with what she said. She doesn't want me?

'Did she reject us? She didn't want us?' My wolf whimper. Clearly he's hurt of what our mate said.

"She's gone." Lucas muttered under his breath and then he turned to me.

I apologize, Alpha. Camilla and I have known each other for quite some time. I've always cared and loved her more than her boyfriend. But I know someday I have to let her go, the moment her mate showed up. Just love her and treat her right. She deserves it. Don't you ever hurt her or make her cry. Alpha or not, I'll kill you. And it won't be pretty." Lucas said.

I growled at him.

"How dare you threaten me!!" I growled.

Lucas smirked and his eyes glowed yellow.

"Oh it's not a threat alpha. It's a promise." He said.

I balled my fist and asked him with gritted teeth.

“How many times have you touched her?!" I asked him with my wolf fighting over control.

"More than you can think of." He said and that's it.

I threw a punch and it landed on Lucas' face, that made him crashed into the wall.

"Don't ever touch her again! She's mine!!!" I growled. Chester and Jax grabbed my arms and stopped me from ripping Lucas' head off his shoulders.

"Alpha, try to calm down, you might kill him." Chester said.

I took several deep breaths until me and my wolf calm down. Lucas got up and dusted himself. Jax let go of me and approached Lucas.

"How did you know that she has a mate when she's human?" Jax asked.

We all turned to Lucas. We all got interested in what he has to answer Jax's question.

"It's not my story to tell. Give her time to think things. She already left. She'll come back when she's ready to accept you." Lucas said.

What does he mean she left? And in a blink of an eye, Lucas left. Damn vampire speed. So we went back to the pack house. Jeanette approached me the moment I entered the front door.

"Hi baby! How was your day?" She purred and stroked my arm. I shivered in disgust, so I removed her hands off my arm and shoved her away. I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.

Jeanette left dumbfounded, thinking what just happened, while Jax and Chester chuckled and left.
