Chapter 10When the knock came, he wasn’t surprised. Rather than call out, he crossed the room and opened the door. Cap stood in the courtyard. He’d shed his coat, exposing how the tail of his nightshirt hung over his waistband where he hadn’t quite tucked it in before chasing after Hector. More proof of his haste, though Hector didn’t require it, not now.
