When the portal closed behind me, their darkened eyes flashed through the night in a cross between hunger and frustration.
"Well, I'm here. Let's do this," I smiled, then rubbed my hands together feeling good about the decision I had made for the twins and their kingdom, and feeling pretty good about closing the chapter between Tatum and me on top of it.
