Ivy: I opened my eyes. I was too fearful to move despite looking at the tent's top. I had made it back from wherever Damon had pulled me. The sky was still dark, the night song had returned, and I knew sleep was no longer an option. I quickly cut a portal into my room in the palace. I turned the shower on and waited until steam fogged over the room. I stepped out of the armor and into the hot water. Not even that burn could replace the one Damon had left in my chest.
