She ignored him. “Now that it’s summoned, we can call it wherever we will it,” her tone was steady. “I can control it Barric.” He wasn’t sure if he agreed, but he convinced himself to believe her. He nodded in surrender. “Okay, I trust you.” Barric went to take another sip, but his cup was empty. “More wine?” Anika asked. “No, I’ve taken enough of your time.” He bid Anika goodnight and left her room, wandering back into the cold maze of the Magi Temple.
