During their breakfast meeting the Raven announced, "That pirate, Mace, escaped from jail a couple of days ago along with his companion, Jake. He overpowered his guard while being transferred to the courthouse. They fled up into the forest and somehow eluded the bloodhounds. The guard will be in the hospital for quite awhile." "They must be very desperate," Red commented. "More than that," the Raven replied, "Mace has sworn to kill me." Wolf's eyes opened wide and after a long pause before he spoke up, "He will probably be caught." "The longer he is free the harder it will be to find him. I don't hold much hope that he will be caught before he commits another crime," the Raven said. "Several knights including myself are going to help in the hunt. There will be no squires on this trip.
